Deep cleaning of rack-mounted servers
Corporate data center · Rome · 9-hour scheduled window

Construction dust on fronts and disk bays was hindering airflow. External cleaning of every unit in the rack with blowing, HEPA vacuuming and isopropyl alcohol, on a live system, without removing or opening the equipment.
Rack base after construction work
Internal rack base · Dust and debris from renovation

After a renovation, construction dust settles at the base of the racks and on the surrounding floating floor. Complete debris removal with deep HEPA-filtered vacuuming and final cleaning with microfiber and isopropyl alcohol.
Every job ends with a photo and technical report.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you want to know before contacting me
Do the servers need to be shut down during the service?
No — quite the opposite. My service is designed to operate on live systems, without ever shutting down or interrupting the servers. I use ESD-certified equipment and techniques specific to mission-critical IT environments, allowing me to work safely while the infrastructure stays up and running.
How long does a typical service take?
It depends on the size of the server room. A single rack takes about 1–2 hours. A room with 10 racks is a full working day. Before every job I do a free site survey to estimate the time accurately and plan without surprises.
Do you work outside Rome?
Yes: I'm based in Rome, which remains where I work most often, but for company contracts, multiple sites and larger projects I travel anywhere in Italy. Travel is always quoted transparently together with the estimate, with no surprises on the invoice.
How often should I schedule maintenance?
It depends on the environment. In dusty or high-traffic environments I recommend every 3 months. For standard environments with good air filtration, every 6 months is enough. For clients with an annual contract I set up a custom scheduled-maintenance plan.
